This is why you should stop practicing
Here's what nobody tells you when you first start pursuing a career as a musician: getting good at your instrument is only half the job.
The musicians I work with aren't struggling because they can't play or teach.
They're struggling to be both high level musicians and business owners, and to keep up with demands like:
— managing their inboxes
— maintaining their websites
— show up consistently on social media
— tracking their finances
— organizing the backend of their studio - and so many other things you don't get good at in the practice room.
Making a successful career as a musician involves a whole skillset beyond being good at your instrument, whether you're a business owner or a freelancer or have some kind of portfolio career with multiple jobs. This is why I recommend not living your whole life in the practice room.
And if you've just simply run out of hours in the day to do all the things, that's what I'm here for. Start with my inquiry form to let me know how I can help: https://www.adellacarlsonstudios.com/tma-inquiry-form
