How to Do It All Until You're Ready to Hire

First, get honest about where your time is actually going:

Spend one week writing down everything you do that's music-business-related — every email, every caption, every invoice, every hour spent researching a festival submission you still haven't sent. You can't solve a problem you're pretending isn't there.

Then, decide what only you can do:

Some tasks require you, everything else is a candidate for a system, a template, or eventually someone else.

Finally, build simple systems before you hire anyone:

-Template your emails

-Batch your content creation

-Use one simple project management tool

-Create a weekly "CEO hour"

And when you're ready to stop doing it all alone, know that getting some support isn't giving up. It's necessary to maximize your potential.

What's the one task you keep avoiding because it takes too long?

I'd love to help you think through whether it can be templated, batched, or eventually handed off.

And if you're starting to think you might need more support, here's how I work with musicians who are ready to get some of their time back: https://www.adellacarlsonstudios.com/the-musicians-assistant
