Common Admin Mistakes Costing You Time and Money

Hot take: busyness is not an excuse for a lack of organization. You’re not disorganized because you’re busy, you’re busy because you’re disorganized.

Failing to prioritize admin and organization is the number 1 mistake costing many musicians time and money.

When I first finished graduate school, I worked a 9-5 job, a part time job, gigged, and grew my business, all at the same time. And this is not an uncommon lifestyle for musicians.

Maybe you're in a job while growing a business, maybe you're building a portfolio career, maybe you're already a full time business owner. Regardless, I'm sure you're busy. Everyone is busy. This is not an excuse for not responding to emails, for missing meetings, for showing up late to gigs, for failing to follow up with leads, for missing deadlines, for skipping practice sessions...need I go on?

The reality is, the busier you get, the more important it becomes that you have a support system in place to ensure you can keep up with all of your commitments, and do so well. The good news is, this is what The Musician's Assistant exists to help other musicians with.

Imagine handing off email management, calendar management, studio management, website management, financial admin, content creation, tech issues, file organization. You'd still be busy. There's still plenty of work only you can do. But your workload would be significantly more manageable.

You'd be busier with your true heartwork, not with scrambling to keep up with every little, if necessary, task. You'd feel less scrambled, because you'd have a clearer focus knowing you have support in place so that you don't have to do it all yourself.

If this sounds like a shift you're ready for, fill out my inquiry form today and let me know how I can help.
