I Took My own Advice

August was the month I finally took my own advice.

The Musician's Assistant has been growing, and as a result, my workload has eclipsed my individual capacity. I needed help months ago, if I'm being honest, but the thought of onboarding an assistant during the last weeks of planning my wedding was too much.

As part of settling back into normal life this month, I finally onboarded my first two team members and started delegating my overflow work - as I’m always encouraging my fellow music business owners to do.

I am beyond excited to say that it’s no longer just me behind The Musician's Assistant, and that these first two hires are just the beginning of what will be a wonderful team of musicians, all with their own specialities. "Successful" careers in classical music are constantly being redefined, and we are excited to be at the forefront of the evolution of the field, helping more music businesses scale and thrive than I could ever do alone.

That's the power of building a great team.

From now on, every new client will be matched with the best VA match possible, based on the business's needs and the VA’s specialties. Building a team of VAs means expanding our capacity to support more clients, so if you’ve been considering hiring help, now is the time to get in touch.
